The Brown Family loves this quiet breakaway farm and would like to share this beautiful setting with each of you. Just two hours from Cape Town the Blueberry Guest Farm is centrally situated just off the N1 between Touwsriver and the historical town of Matjiesfontein. The vast beauty of the semi-arid landscape stretches to the horizon under a canopy of the richest blue sky, and herds of antelope graze across the rolling hills.

The guest house is ideal for a group of friends or family and can sleep up to 8 people. The house has a spacious stoep, lounge, dining room and a sunroom with a built-in braai/fireplace for the winter. Three double bedrooms and one twin bed bedroom (all en-suite) all decorated in the earthy colours of the Karoo.

A range of activities awaits the traveller to Blue Berry Hill. Intrepid souls can explore the stunning surrounds by foot or horseback, while adventure-seekers can take to the veld on their own or rented mountain bikes and follow the new professionally designed track. Nothing beats a sunset game drive in pursuit of the various species of antelope, including gemsbok, black wildebeest, eland & zebra that populate the valley below.

It is an ideal location to soak up the relaxed ambience of the Karoo and experience a day in the life of a working Karoo farm. Our guests are able to come into close contact with a variety of farm animals such as cattle, sheep, donkeys, alpacas, ducks, geese, peacocks and chickens. You can have a lovely picnic next to the plaasdam while the kids can play on the grass or have a swim.
