Engelen aan de Waterkant is situated in a mansion built in 1900 in a quiet neigbourhood alongside the banks of the Schelde river in the art-historical quarters of the city. “Kinepolis”, the largest cinema in Gent is only 100 meters away. Within a 5 minutes walk distance you can visit the SMAK museum , the Museum of Modern Art and the St Peters’s abbey. 15 minutes of walking will allow you to visit the “Bijloke” concert hall and the “Capitole” theatre. After a 1à minutes walk along the Schelde river you will reach the shopping streets and the ancient city center.
